Not Just Paninis

We were excited to try this new sandwich shop in Rapid City and headed down there early afternoon on Saturday.  The place was in chaos and you couldn't tell what was going on.  In our first 2 minutes of being there while trying to figure out the ordering situation, we were asked very rudely by a waitress to get out of her way so she could get beverages.  Apparently she has to cut through the people standing in line to get to their pop dispenser and she was none to happy about it.  Then we apparently annoyed the cashier because we didn't know that her line was just for ordering and picking up take-out.  Within 5 minutes of entering, we were attacked by 2 different employees.  After waiting a few more minutes,  a table was opening up in the back so we headed back there to get a table.  We stepped aside to let someone pass and one of the ladies in the kitchen asked if we needed something.  We replied we were just getting to our table.  She asked that we step away from their "kitchen" even though we weren't even in the doorway of their kitchen which is right in the middle of the restaurant and only separated by a 5' high wall.  So, in a mere 10 minutes of being in this new restaurant, we were treated very poorly by THREE separate employees.  I have never seen anything like it.

I am a very big believer in voting with dollars.  We left our house that morning fully intending to drop $30-$35 on lunch.  After our 3rd encounter with an employee there, we left.  No matter how I feel about Paninis, I will not be back to that restaurant.  They made it very clear that they did not appreciate us coming there to give them our money, so we won't be back.
